Caring for your Electronic Equipment
The proper care and maintenance of your electronic equiptment can prevent a lot of frustation caused by poor performance, and save you much money on unnecessary repairs.
- Clean computer monitors regularly with window cleaner (see make your own window cleaner in Resources) or methylated spirits, and buff with a paper towel.
- Dust between your keyboard keys with a cotton bud.
- Clean the tops of the keyboard keys with methylated spirits on a cotton bud.
- Clean marks off the computer case with methylated spirits on a cotton bud.
- Regularly dust portable radios, stereos, walkmans, ipods, portable CD players.
- Keep CDs in their cases or plastic sleeves to prevent damage or scratching and dust ruining their performance.
