Quick tips
- Put your liquid cleaner into a spray bottle to save on the amount of the liquid that you use.
- Use an old toothbrush to clean those (other) hard to reach places around the house.
- When your sponge mop begins to shred, simply place an old sock over it to make it last longer.
- Use old T-shirts cut up for cleaning and polishing cloths.
- Cut up the best part of old tea towels and use them for cleaning.
- Place an old sock over your hand to dust surfaces and blinds.
- Remove mildew from leather surfaces, such as a suitcase, by wiping them with a cloth moistened in equal parts of water and rubbing alcohol.
- Clean the telephone with rubbing alcohol.
