Quick tips

  • Put your liquid cleaner into a spray bottle to save on the amount of the liquid that you use.
  • Use an old toothbrush to clean those (other) hard to reach places around the house.
  • When your sponge mop begins to shred, simply place an old sock over it to make it last longer.
  • Use old T-shirts cut up for cleaning and polishing cloths.
  • Cut up the best part of old tea towels and use them for cleaning.
  • Place an old sock over your hand to dust surfaces and blinds.
  • Remove mildew from leather surfaces, such as a suitcase, by wiping them with a cloth moistened in equal parts of water and rubbing alcohol.
  • Clean the telephone with rubbing alcohol.
